Mr. Johnny Hadlock is VoLT's Owner/Principal. He has more than 18 years of experience working in the nonprofit, for profit, and public sector. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University in 2010 and his Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in nonprofit management from George Mason University in 2014. For the past six years, has served as the Executive Director of NAGARA, a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., where he developed and implemented several new membership benefit offerings, created the new member onboarding and member retention program, increased membership engagement and event offerings, and implemented strategic goals that electrified the association. As a result of his innovative ideas, the membership of NAGARA soared 423%. Mr. Hadlock’s talents in event management resulted in NAGARA’s highest-attended Annual Conference in organizational history. Under his management and leadership, the association’s net assets have increased by 414%, providing the means for long-term organizational sustainability. His success is not only reflected in the data. Mr. Hadlock is highly respected and well liked among the membership’s leaders, volunteers, and members. His reputation as a savvy, energetic, service-oriented association executive professional is well known among NAGARA’s stakeholders and sister associations. Mr. Hadlock has been an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (hereinafter “ASAE”) for six years, where he has been working towards earning his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.

Rebekah Davis is VoLT’s Event and Membership Support specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of North Alabama and has 25 years of experience in community service and leadership in government, media, and nonprofit organizations. Rebekah has years of front-line customer service experience, serving members of her own county archives and community in a timely and friendly manner. She has served her profession as President of NAGARA and President of the Society of Alabama Archivists (SAA). She was also a contributor to the Handbook of Archival Practice and regularly presents and volunteers at state and national conferences. She has served her local community as Secretary of the Athens-Limestone Community Association (ALCA) and member of the Limestone County Bicentennial Committee. She has led preservation efforts and access to the county’s historic record and served in community projects that forward that mission. In addition to helping people discover their history and overseeing Archives administration (including a full renovation of the facility), Davis has been instrumental in creating historic enrichment projects, events, and multimedia content that engages everyone from tiny tots to civic leaders with their community story.

Katherine (Kat) Ayala is VoLT’s Information Technology and Cybersecurity specialist. She received her master’s degree in Information Technology: Cybersecurity from Capella University. She is a champion of cross-functional collaboration and large-scale enterprise-wide security initiatives. Kat brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to VoLT from her tenure working for the Department of Defense and Department of Transportation. She has worked in the IT and Cybersecurity fields since 2018. Kat is a certified Microsoft Azure Administrator, and experienced in all aspects of Microsoft 365, VoLT’s recommended e-mail, data, and records management system for NAGARA. Kat lives in Colorado with her two adopted dogs, Mia and Lilly, and enjoys spending time with them and hiking the Rockies in her free time.
